Handelsbanken's card readers

The QR-reader is used together with your log-on card. It has a camera that can read QR-codes in the Online Banking services. 

• Suitable for Online Banking and is used to log in to and sign within Handelsbanken's services. Is used either with your computer, mobile or tablet. You cannot use the QR-reader with other companies or authorities.
• No need for confirmation using control codes.
• This version was released April 2023.

• This type of card reader works as a BankID when used together with the log-on card marked with the BankID logo. To use as a BankID you also need to download the BankID application.
• When used together with your BankID log-on card, you can also use it to verify yourself towards other companies and authorities.
• If your log-on card doesn't have the BankID logo, you can only use it for Handelsbanken's Online Banking services.
• This card reader was released August 2023.

• Without a cable connected you use the card reader for our Online Banking services. Either on your computer, mobile or tablet. 
• Can be used as a BankID when the card reader is used with a cable connected to your computer. This also requires that your log-on card has the BankID logo and that you have downloaded the BankID application.
• When used as a BankID you can verify yourself towards other companies and authorities.
• This card reader is an older version and cannot be ordered anymore. If you have one from before, you can of course continue using it.

• The audio card reader is used together with your log-on card. 
• The audio card reader is a helpful device to perform your Online Banking services if you are visually impaired.
  
• This is the newer version of the audio card reader which was released October 2023. The older version still works.
