How do I order a Mobile BankID? 

If you have an existing Mobile BankID, you can do it directly via our mobile app. If you do not have an existing Mobile BankID, you need to log in to Online Banking.

Can I log in using a Mobile BankID issued by another bank?

Yes. The first time you log in and if you renew your Mobile BankID from another bank, you need to verify it. You can do the verification with your card reader or a Swedish passport/national ID card, via our mobile app or Online Banking.
  1. Log in to Handelsbanken with Mobile BankID.
  2. Follow the instructions to verify your Mobile BankID.
  3. Once the verification is completed, you can log in with Mobile BankID.

Having trouble logging in with Mobile BankID?

Online Banking
Use the default browser on your mobile/tablet to log in to Online Banking. If you use a non-default browser, an error message may appear. Check the default browser in your device's settings.

Mobile app
If the BankID app does not open when logging in via the mobile app, it may be due to an incorrect setting. Follow the steps on BankID's website.
