Our mobile apps

Difficulties logging in

For our apps to work properly, data and energy saving features should not be activated on your mobile. Those features make it difficult for the apps to get access to background data.

If you get the error message 'Meddelande: Okänt fel' when logging in, the reason may be that these features are activated.

No access when logging in

To be able to log in to our mobile apps, you need to sign an agreement for telephone and mobile services. The agreement needs to be in place, no matter which log-in method you use. If you get the error message 'Du saknar behörighet...' when logging in, you do not have such an agreement in place.

The mobile app is available in English, however you need to log in to Online Banking in Swedish or contact your branch office to sign up and get the app (see below).

How to activate the app?

If you wish to use personal code as your log-in method, you need to activate the app before logging in. If you only plan to log in using Mobile BankID, there's no need to activate the app.

Handelsbanken's mobile apps

We have two mobile apps, one for private customers and one for corporate customers. Both apps are available in English, however you need to log in to Online Banking in Swedish or contact your branch office to sign up and get the app. This is how to get started when logging in to Online Banking in Swedish:

  1. Log in to Online Banking in Swedish (if you want the corporate app, make sure to log in to 'Företag' - our corporate service).

  2. Private: Choose 'Mobil och BankID in the main menu, go to the menu choice 'Mobilapp och telefon' and click the button 'Teckna avtal eller ändra personlig kod'.
Corporate: Choose 'Internet, mobil och BankID' on the startpage, go to the menu choice 'Telefon och mobil' and choose 'Teckna avtal eller ändra personlig kod' from the drop-down menu.

  3. Sign the agreement for telephone services and pick a four-digit personal code.

  4. Log in to the mobile app with personal code or Mobile BankID.
